Service Pack 3

The Windows Installer package file (Update.exe) for Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) is available in the self-extracting .EXE that contains the rest of the service pack. Perform the following steps to extract Update.exe:
  1. Obtain Windows 2000 SP3.
  2. Type the following at a Command Prompt to extract the contents of SP3:
    <fullpath>\w2kSP3 -x					

Service Pack 2

The Windows Installer package file (Update.exe) for Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) is available in the self-extracting .EXE that contains the rest of the service pack. Perform the following steps to extract Update.exe:
  1. Obtain Windows 2000 SP2.
  2. Type the following at a Command Prompt to extract the contents of SP2:
    <fullpath>\w2kSP2 -x

    <fullpath>\sp1network -x
