Second Licensed ActiveX Control Does Not Load

You may experience any of the following problems:
  • In Internet Explorer 5.5, after you browse to an HTML page that contains a licensed ActiveX control, licensed ActiveX controls may not load on other HTML pages until you quit and restart the browser.
  • If you browse to a page that contains multiple licensed ActiveX controls, only the first control appears.
These issues are resolved in a hotfix for Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1. For additional information about obtaining this fix, click the article number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
You can also resolve the first symptom by installing Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
