FIX: PdhExpandWildCardPath() ANSI Version May Fail on Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS
The ANSI version of the PdhExpandWildCardPath function may fail with a random error code on a computer that is running Windows 2000. Only the ANSI version, PdhExpandWildCardPathA, exhibits this behavior.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in theMicrosoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:
   Date        Time    Version       Size    File name   --------------------------------------------------   10/03/00    03:13p  5.0.2195.2408 149,776 Pdh.dll				

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
