Introduction

This article describes an update that enables Microsoft Lync 2010 for Windows Phone to process the new Inactive token from the Lync Server Mobility Service. After you apply this update, Lync 2010 for Windows Phone displays your presence status as Inactive together with a yellow presence bar. This behavior occurs after you set the presence status to Busy and then leave the Lync client in an idle state for 5 minutes.

To apply this new feature, install the following update:

Note To enable the update, the Lync Server 2010 environment administrator must also install the updates that are mentioned in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 2743736 on the server.
