Symptoms

You use Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) providers in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2010 environment. In this scenario, you may notice that the WMI providers prevent SNA Administration from starting or displaying the status information for Status Undetected.

Cause

This issue occurs because of a deadlock condition in a WMI provider.
