Assume that you install the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Live Meeting Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Outlook and the 64-bit version of Outlook 2013 on a computer. The computer is running the 64-bit version of a Windows 8 client. When you use the "Meet Now" or "Schedule a Live Meeting" feature on the Conference tab in Outlook 2013, the following information is displayed in an Outlook dialog box:
Additionally, when you click Cancel, Outlook 2013 restarts, and the Inbox page is displayed. Then, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Outlook has stopped working
When you click View Disabled Add-ins..., the Disabled Add-ins dialog box appears, and the following information is displayed:
ADD-IN PROBLEM A problem was detected with an add-in and has been disabled
These Add-ins decreased performance in or Caused Outlook to crash.

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:

This issue described in the Symptoms section of this article is caused by the design of the 64-bit version of the Microsoft Live Meeting Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Outlook.
This issue does not occur in the following two environments.
