Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2012 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2012 fix release.

Introduction

This article describes an update for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 that improves the output log for the Data Quality Services (DQS) installation process. To help troubleshoot installation issues, the following information is now included in the output log:

  • The command name before each SQLCMD call in the recreate_schema.bat batch file.

  • The .sql file name.

  • The output log location when a fatal error occurs.

  • The disclaimer in the register_assemblies.sql and register_dq_assembiles.sql scripts for warning messages.
