In Microsoft Word 2000, when you attempt to insert a picture from the Clip Art gallery into a document (on the Insert menu, point to Picture, and then click Clip Art), you may receive an error message similar to the following
Microsoft Word can't display Clip Art.
This feature is not available. To make this feature available, run Setup again, select "Add or Remove Features", and change the feature to "Run from My Computer".
and Clip Gallery does not start.
This behavior can occur after you install Microsoft Office XP on the same computer as Microsoft Office 2000, and you choose to make Microsoft Clip Organizer Not Available when you install Office XP.
To resolve this issue, install Clip Organizer. After Clip Organizer is installed, Clip Gallery will work as expected with Microsoft Word 2000. To install Clip Organizer, follow these steps:
  1. Insert the Office XP compact disc in your computer's CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Select Microsoft Office, and then click Add/Remove.
  5. When the Maintenance Mode Options dialog box appears, click Add or Remove Features, and then click Next.
  6. Click the plus sign next to Office Shared Features.
  7. Click the arrow next to Clip Organizer.
  8. Click Run from My Computer or Run all from My Computer, and then click Update.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
