The "Select element" button in the DOM Explorer does not select the running app that you have to debug in Visual Studio 2013 Preview

Symptoms
You debug a running JavaScript Windows Store app in the DOM Explorer window in Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Preview. When you click Select element, the running app that you are debugging is not selected and brought to the foreground.
Workaround
To work around this behavior, follow these steps:
  1. Press Alt+Tab until the running app that you have to debug is selected.
  2. Use the mouse to pause the pointer on the element that you have to debug, and then click the element to select it.
  3. Press Alt+Tab to switch back to the DOM Explorer in Visual Studio 2013 Preview.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
