Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a Microsoft SharePoint library together with one or more views, or you have a SharePoint Online document library.

  • You use SharePoint adapter in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 to receive data from a SharePoint library view or a SharePoint Online library.

  • The default value Yes is set for Client-Side Object Model (CSOM) in the Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) adapter configuration.

In this scenario, BizTalk Server 2013 cannot receive messages from the view in the document library or from the SharePoint Online library.

Additionally, if you receive data from the SharePoint Online library, the following error message may be logged in the Event log:

The Windows SharePoint Services receive adapter has failed to process the SharePoint file /Demo/Test /Integrationsdagarna2013/76529e8a-365a-41b2-819b-82199aeec7fe.txt. The following error has been encountered:
[System.Net.WebException] The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
Error code: 12310
Once you have addressed the issue causing this problem, you can undo the check-out for this file and the adapter will try to process it again.
This error was triggered by the Windows SharePoint Services receive location or send port with URI wsss://[SiteName]:443/Demo/Test?ViewName=.
Windows SharePoint Services adapter event ID: 12457

If you receive data from a SharePoint library view, you may receive all the files in the document library regardless of whether they are in the view.
