Known issues with this security update

When customers try to manually install this security update, they may receive the following message:

The update is already installed on this system.
Customers who receive this message should determine whether nonsecurity update 2837593 was applied. Nonsecurity update 2837593 already contains the updated files for Microsoft Word 2010 that are installed by this security update.

If nonsecurity update 2837593 was applied, this security update is not needed. No additional action is necessary. However, customers who require the installation of this security update for security compliance reasons should remove nonsecurity update 2837593 and then apply this security update.
