The Computer May Stop Responding During the Shutdown Process When You Use the Sysprep Tool

When you use the Microsoft System Preparation (Sysprep) tool to create a disk image, the computer may stop responding during the shutdown process.
To resolve this behavior, you must install Sysprep version 1.1. This version supports the use of an additional switch, /forceshutdown
To download Sysprep 1.1, refer to either of the following Microsoft Web sites:
When you have installed Sysprep 1.1, locate the Sysprep.exe file, and then use the sysprep.exe /forceshutdown
