Introduction
This article describes an update that adds a new feature to Microsoft Lync Phone Edition telephones.
After you install this update on a Lync Phone Edition telephone, you can use a Voice Mail entry to transfer a call to a user’s voice mail. To do this, follow these steps when you receive a call:

Press the Menu soft key on the In Call screen, and then click Transfer Directly to....

Select a contact who has voice mail enabled, and then open the contact’s contact card.

Use the Voice Mail entry that is displayed on the contact card to transfer the call to the user’s voice mail.
