Exchange Server Is Using 10 Percent of CPU Resources on Windows 2000

SYMPTOMS
When Microsoft Exchange Server runs on Windows 2000 Server, this program uses about 10 percent of the CPU resources. A single function, the user context list mode, consumes these CPU resources.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.
