Internet Explorer loses HTTP connections when you close a webpage before you receive an XHR response
Consider the following scenario:
- You use Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, or Internet Explorer 9.
- You make an asynchronous XMLHttpRequest (XHR) object request from a webpage.
- You close the webpage before you receive a response.
In this scenario, if the response length (header together with body) is greater than 1 kilobyte (KB), Internet Explorer loses the HTTP connections.
