"The items could not be copied" error when you search a mailbox in Office 365 dedicated

Symptoms
When you try to search a mailbox in Microsoft Office 365 dedicated, you receive the following error messages. 
  • In Microsoft Exchange Control Panel, the error message resembles the following:
    SEARCH PARTIALLY SUCCEEDED 
    The items could not be copied.
  • In Windows Remote PowerShell, the error message resembles the following:
    The items could not be copied.
Cause
This issue occurs if a corrupted or malformed item is encountered in the mailbox.
Resolution
If content out of the mailbox is required, you should export the content to a personal storage table (PST) file. For more information, click the following article number to see the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
