Assign MSDN subscription access and privileges

Summary
The process to assign users to MSDN subscriptions is different for Microsoft Action Pack subscribers than it is for Microsoft competency partners. The MSDN Subscriptions privilege is required for partners with a Microsoft competency. A Technical Contact role is required for partners with a Microsoft Action Pack subscription.

  1. Sign in to the Partner Membership Center by using the Microsoft account associated with your Microsoft Partner Network membership.
  2. On the Home page, click the Requirements & Assets menu and then click Associated People.
  3. Optional: To filter the list by individual, type information in the name and email fields.
  4. Select the individual to whom you want to assign the contact role, and then click Assign Roles.
  5. A pop-up screen will appear. Select one of the Technical Contact roles from the dropdown menu for Select Role. The following steps can be completed by a program administrator to find the Technical ID:
  1. Sign in to the Partner Membership Center, by using your Microsoft account associated with your MPN membership.
