Payment Profile in Partner Incentive Experience
This article describes how to create and edit a Payment Profile in the Partner Incentive Experience, as well as explaining what Preferred Currency is, and how to change it.
Separate Payment Profiles can be created for different currencies using the same bank account, however only one Payment Profile can be assigned per program.
To create or edit a Payment Profile, select Manage payment profile from the Admin tile.
The status will remain pending until Microsoft validates your bank information. This can take up to 48 hours. Your bank details are only visible to you and only the last four digits of your banking details are visible to Microsoft.
The currency selected in the active Payment Profile will determine the currency in which you will receive payment. When creating or editing the payment profile, the payment currency selection available in the drop-down menu will be based on the selected bank account country location.
The currency selected as the Preferred Currency will determine the primary currency displayed in the Partner Incentive Experience, and will be the currency used for reporting purposes.
Preferred Currency defaults to the currency selected in the Payment Profile until a new Preferred Currency is selected. You can change the Preferred Currency at any time, and will not affect the payment profile currency.
To select a new Preferred Currency, follow these steps:
- Log into the Partner Incentive Experience with your Microsoft account.
- Click your company name at the top right corner of the screen and click User Settings.
- Select your preferred currency from the User Currency dropdown box.
- Click Save to complete the process.
