FIX: Continuous refreshes occur after you configure scheduled data refresh in PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013
Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or 2014 PowerPivot for SharePoint 2013, and that you schedule a data refresh for a workbook. When you set the schedules to occur on a specific day every certain number of months, continuous refreshes occur in some specific scenarios.
The setting for the schedules resembles the following screen shot.
The result is as follows.
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
- Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2014 SP1
- Cumulative Update 7 for SQL Server 2014
- Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2012 SP2
