IBM 3270 PC Not Officially Supported by QuickBasic

The IBM 3270 PC computer combines an IBM PC with the capability tointerface with a mainframe computer.

The IBM 3270 PC is not on the list of IBM PC compatibles on whichQuickBasic compiler has been tested or guaranteed to run.

It has been reported that system lockups can occur when runningQuickBasic Version 4.00 on the IBM 3270 PC.

We recommend that you do not run QuickBasic, or programs compiled inQuickBasic, on the IBM 3270 PC.

This information also applies to the IBM 3270 Workstation ProgramVersion 1.0, which is a software package that emulates an IBM 3270 PC.

This information applies to QuickBasic Versions 4.00, 4.00b, and 4.50,and the Microsoft Basic Compiler Versions 6.00 and 6.00b for MS-DOSand OS/2 (and their included copies of QuickBasic).
