Microsoft Test Manager 2015 hangs if the build is specified and the Verify Bugs option is selected

Symptoms
Microsoft Test Manager 2015 stops responding (hangs) if an XAML or vNext build is specified against the test plan and the Verify Bugs option is selected.

This problem occurs when you follow these steps:

  1. Create an XAML or vNext build.
  2. Assign the build to a test plan.
  3. Execute a manual test case in Microsoft Test Runner.
  4. During execution, create a bug.
  5. End the Microsoft Test Runner session.
  6. Click the Verify Bugs tab.
  7. Select the bug that you created in step 4, and then click Verify Bugs.
Resolution
To resolve this problem, install the Microsoft Test Manager 2015 update.
