  1. Start Search Companion. To do this, click Start, and then click Search.

  3. In the All or part of the file name box, enter Outlfltr.dat, and then click Search.
  4. In the list of files, press and hold (or right-click) Outlfltr.dat, and then click Properties.

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Enter Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.

      1. Click View installed updates.
      2. In the list of updates, select update KB3115110, and then click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP
      1. Select the Show updates check box.
      2. In the list of updates, select KB3115110, and then click Remove.
