Clear button of input box isn't hid in Enterprise Mode in Internet Explorer 11

Symptoms
Assume that you have a webpage that has input boxes. When you enter text into the input box, a clear button is displayed, even when the webpage is opened in Enterprise Mode.
Cause
In case the website is opened in Enterprise Mode, the developer of the webpage can't set the clear button to disappear. That's because the pseudo element ::-ms-clear is only recognized in Internet Explorer 10 or Internet Explorer 11 Document Modes.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer. To do this, go to Microsoft Update. Additionally, see the technical information about the most recent cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.

After you install this update, the clear button will no longer be displayed if a website is opened in Enterprise Mode.

Note This update was first included in the November 2015 security update for Internet Explorer (MS15-112).
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
