When you drag an object from one position on a page to a new area or page that is not visible on screen, scrolling may stop before you get to the position that you want. If you keep moving the mouse, scrolling continues but it may be jerky.

To move an object to a different location in your document, use one of the following methods:
  • Use the Cut and Paste commands to place the object in the location that you want.
  • If the object was inserted into the document, delete it from its current location and reinsert it into a new location.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
