If there are more than two grouped taskbar buttons on the taskbar, the Cascade, Tile Windows Horizontally, and Tile Windows Vertically commands may not work correctly.
This problem can occur if the Group similar taskbar buttons feature is enabled.
To resolve this problem, right-click the grouped taskbar button, and then click Minimized Group before you use the Cascade, Tile Windows Horizontally, or Tile Windows Vertically command.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
To use the Cascade, Tile Windows Horizontally, or Tile Windows Vertically command, right-click the taskbar, and then click one of the commands.
