Video channels aren’t available in the SharePoint Online Admin Center

PROBLEM
When you create a video channel in Office 365, you can upload videos and manage the video channel. However, you cannot see the site collection for the video channel in the site collections view in the SharePoint Online Admin Center.
SOLUTION
This is the expected behavior. When a new video channel is created, the site collection is flagged as hidden. Therefore, it's not included in site collections view in the SharePoint Online Admin Center.

To work around this behavior, access the hidden site collection by typing the following URL into your browser window:
https://contoso.sharepoint.com/portals/channelname

Notes
  • Replace contoso with the domain that you use for your organization.
  • Replace channelname with the channel name for your video portal.
  • If the channel name contains a space ( ) character, you must replace it with an underscore (_) character. For example, channel name must be entered as channel_name.
MORE INFORMATION
Previously, video channels were included the site collections view. However, this inclusion also meant that the site collections could be deleted. This caused maintenance and operation issues for the video channels.

For more information, see Create and manage a channel in Office 365 Video.
