UPN must be used to log on to OWA, Outlook, and EAS in Office 365 Dedicated/ITAR (vNext)

Symptoms
A user experiences logon failures when they use their PrimarySMTPAddress value as the user name, and the PrimarySMTPAddress doesn’t match the user principal name (UPN). This affects Exchange Active Sync, Outlook Web App (OWA), Outlook, and Exchange Web Service (EAS) connections.
Cause
When authenticating to the service, the UPN is the authenticating object name that's used for Active Directory lookups. If the PrimarySMTPAddress element doesn’t match the UPN, this may trigger authentication issues when the user tries to use the PrimarySMTPAddress for authentication.

Therefore, the PrimarySMTPAddress value should match the UPN value.
