Windows MovieMaker or the Microsoft Producer program may unexpectedly quit while you are importing, previewing or publishing source content that uses the driver from C-Media, and you may receive the following error message:
Moviemk.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you view the data that the error report contains, error signature information that is similar to the following information may be displayed:
   App Name     App Version  Module Name  Module Version  Offset   ---------------------------------------------------------------   Moviemk.exe  1.1.2427.0         00001612				
This issue can occur when a fault occurs in the C-Media driver file.
To resolve this issue, contact C-Media to inquire about the availability of a a newer version of the C-Media driver file. To work around this issue if the issue continues to occur after you are using the most current version of the C-Media driver file, try to use other content that is created from a different source.
