FIX: Infinite recompile occurs when querying a view that references the identity column of a system-versioned temporal table
When you query a view that references the identity column of a system-versioned temporal table in Microsoft SQL Server 2016, an infinite recompile may occur.
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server: Recommendation: Install the latest cumulative update for SQL Server
