Unrelated Rows in a Subreport or a Subform Are Returned When the Linkmaster Property or the Linkchild Property Uses Decimal Fields

SYMPTOMS
Unrelated rows in a subreport or a subform may be returned when the LinkMaster property or the LinkChild property uses fields of the Decimal data type and the table is linked through ODBC.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the decimal separator is not set to use a period (.) in the Regional Options Control Panel.
RESOLUTION

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem has been fixed in the latest edition of the Jet Service Pack.
