FIX: Adding a subscription to an Oracle transactional publication or an Oracle snapshot publication fails in SQL Server 2014 SP2 or later

Symptoms
When you add a subscription to an Oracle transactional publication or an Oracle snapshot publication in SQL Server 2014 with Service Pack 2 or a later version, you receive the following error message:

A publication must have at least one article before a subscription to it can be created.
The subscription could not be found.
Changed database context to 'distribution'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 14124)

Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
