After you review and accept changes that have been made to a Word 2002 document, deleted text may re-appear in the document.
After you accept individual changes while you are using the Track Changes feature, deleted text is not removed. Because of this, deleted text may be re-introduced into a file. The acceptance of a change before the acceptance of deleted text overrides the option to accept the text as being deleted. This is true because the deleted text was included in the earlier change that was an insertion of new text.
