XADM: The Information Store Stops Responding When the PR_MESSAGE_CLASS Is NULL

SYMPTOMS
When the Exchange 2000 information store process (Store.exe) processes a rule for the public folder, the information store may stop responding. If the correct symbols are installed, the call stack is similar to:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
