When you try to open Event Viewer logs you get the errors. As a result you can not launch Event View logs.
Can not start Event Viewer logs
When you try to open Event Viewer logs present under the Administrative tools of Control Panel you get the following errors.
When you click Application, you receive:-Unable to complete the operation on "Application".The interface is unknown.
When you click Security, you receive:- Unable to complete the operation on "Security".The interface is unknown.
When you click System, you receive:- Unable to complete the operation on "System".The interface is unknown.
Now scroll down to Event Viewer. Double Click on it and make the Startup type Automatic from the drop down box. Click Apply. Also click on the Start button to start the service. Click OK.
