Fax Program Does Not Send a Fax If the Program Calls FaxInitializeEventQueue() Multiple Times Per Fax Session

The FaxInitializeEventQueue function creates a fax event queue for the calling fax client program. The queue permits the program to receive notifications of asynchronous events from the fax server. Calling FaxInitializeEventQueue multiple times per fax session can cause the fax program not to send a fax. The returned status code is 0xC002000D (RPC_NT_TYPE_ALREADY_REGISTERED) if the fax event queue is already initialized. Use the GetLastError function to determine if your program is receiving this status.
The 0xC002000D (RPC_NT_TYPE_ALREADY_REGISTERED) return code is expected because the event queue is already initialized, but it is not remapped to the specification that is stated in the Microsoft Platform SDK documentation. The documentation states that error code ERROR_INVALID_DATA (0x00000013) should be returned when a program calls the FaxInitializeEventQueue function more than one time during a fax session.
