FIX: Winprint Produces Incorrect Output for Booklet Printing of Mixed Orientation Document

In the case of Postscript printer drivers, when printing a document with mixed orientation (that is, both landscape and portrait format in the same document) in booklet mode, some of the output is stretched when printed. In these cases, the output appears to be horizontally stretched.
This problem occurs because the default print processor (Winprint) does not modify the size of the page based on the change in orientation in booklet mode.

Hotfix Information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
