In Windows Management Instrumentation, when the Nt5_GenericPerfProvider_V1 performance provider is populating the properties on a performance object instance such as Win32_PerfRawData_MSExchangeIS_MSExchangeISMailbox, the performance provider may unexpectedly stop collecting the performance data.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
