If you delete a user profile on a Windows 2000-based computer, some programs on that user's computer may not work correctly the next time the user logs on. This problem occurs if the programs were installed by using Microsoft Windows Installer while the Only for me per-user installation mode option was selected. Additionally, the user may not be able to correctly repair the programs.
This problem occurs because when you delete a user profile in Windows 2000, the Windows Installer information for the user profile is not deleted from the registry.
