MORE INFORMATION
Osql.exe uses the Win32 API Sleep call to avoid CPU usage while it waits for the results of a query. This sleep value is hard-coded as 100 milliseconds. This value limits the number of query operations per second to approximately 10.

The sleep activity is similar to the DB-Library option DataReadySleep. In the DB-Library, the DbDataReady function is controlled by the DataReadySleepvalue.
