XL2002: Time Calculation in Pivot Table May Not Be Accurate

SYMPTOMS
When you create a PivotTable in a new Excel 2002 workbook, the time calculation that is contained in the PivotTable is not calculated correctly.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if you use a PivotTable that is contained in a different Excel 2002 workbook as a data source in your new workbook.
RESOLUTION

Service Pack Information

Hotfix Information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3.
