When Microsoft SQL Server tries to compile a plan for a complex query, you may receive the following error message:
Server: Msg 8623, Level 16, State 1, Line 6 Internal Query Processor Error: The query processor could not produce a query plan. Contact your primary support provider for more information.
This error is not based on any particular query construct. Also, this error is not limited to any particular database environment, to any particular amount of data, or to any particular kind of data. This error may first occur only sporadically. However, this error may occur repeatedly after the first time it occurs.
Service pack information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
