When you use the Microsoft XML for Analysis Services provider (XML/A) to return the members of a dimension that has more than one hierarchy defined, the XML result set does not contain the hierarchy name. The result set only contains the dimension name.

Update informationFor the updated version of the XMLA provider (msxaserv.dll) to correctly return the hierarchy information, the OLE DB for OLAP provider (msolap80.dll) must be version 8.00.0806 or a later version. To obtain the updated version of the OLE DB for OLAP provider, contact Microsoft Product Support Services.
