If you send an e-mail message that requests a read receipt in Outlook 2002, and you open the sent e-mail message in your Sent folder, the date and time for the read receipts are not correct on the Tracking tab. This problem occurs even if the recipient has not read the e-mail message or sent a read receipt.
Note You generally do not receive any date or time information on the Tracking tab of the sent e-mail message if the recipients have not read the e-mail message or sent a read receipt.
This problem occurs if you click Reply to All in an e-mail message that you sent earlier, and request a new read receipt for the same e-mail message.
If the recipients sent a read receipt to the earlier e-mail message, and have not read the new e-mail message yet, the date and time information from the first read receipts may be appear on the Tracking tab of the new e-mail message that you sent using Reply to All.
