Turning on /Og, /O1, or /O2 optimizations may generate incorrect code. The Generate Assembly instruction incorrectly loads the AL register value instead of the AH register value. As a result, you may receive incorrect output from your application.
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.
