When you use Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, the Play Sound feature (in the Behaviors task pane on the Format menu) plays when you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
This problem occurs because the Play Sound feature in Front Page 2003 generates a scripting function that is dependent on Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
Note Not all Web browsers support the functionality that permits you to add sound to a Web site.
To resolve this problem, use Internet Explorer 5.0 or later.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
The options that are found on the Behaviors task pane in FrontPage 2003 are scripting options that permit you to quickly add interactivity and add increased functionality to text or to other elements of your Web page.
