FIX: You may receive a "Cyclic Redundancy Check" error message when you try to extract a .zip file by using the ZipFile class in Microsoft Visual J# .NET

This article has been archived. It is offered "as is" and will no longer be updated.
When you try to compress and then to expand a .zip file by using the ZipFile class in Microsoft Visual J# .NET, you may receive an error message. This error message only occurs when the .zip file is compressed by using the ZipFile class.
This problem occurs because the ZipEntry Class Reader limits the lengths of the entries to 64 kilobytes (KB).
