When you run the release version of a managed program that was built with the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0, the program may stop responding. Also, the CPU usage may increase to 100 percent. This problem does not occur if you run the debug version of the .NET Framework 1.0.
This problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
Software update informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
