When you upgrade your computer to Microsoft Windows XP, you may receive the following error message after the computer restarts for the second time during the Setup process:
Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt C:\Windows\inf\Biosinfo.inf
This behavior may occur if third-party software (for example, Norton Antivirus 2003) is installed on your computer before you start the Windows XP upgrade process.
