Daylight saving time update

You do not have to remove any previously installed DST update to apply this cumulative update.
When you use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP, and you change the time zone setting by using Date and Time Properties on the remote computer, the time zone changes that you made are not saved on the remote computer when you log off from Remote Desktop Connection.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2.
