FIX: "Run-time error ‘1008’" when you run an application that was created by using Visual Studio 6.0 on Windows XP SP2

On a computer that is running Microsoft Window XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), you receive the following error message when you run an application that was created by using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0:
Run-Time error ‘1008’
This problem occurs when the code calls the Listen method of the Mswinsck.ocx object.
This error occurs because the Listen method of the Mswinsck.ocx object fails on Windows XP SP2.
